Overview
The Motrox Outrider is a motorcycle flannel shirt for riders who want the look of a work shirt and the protection of riding gear. Under a soft 100% cotton flannel face it is reinforced with genuine DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid, stitched with four-needle double-reinforced seams, and fitted with removable CE certified armour at the shoulders, elbows and back. The garment is certified to EN 17092-3:2020, Class AA, the European standard for urban and touring motorcycle clothing.
Nine colours, one shirt. Pick your colour, size and armour above. The Outrider is a stocked, standard-size garment (not made-to-measure) in 20 sizes from XS to 8XL, including tall cuts, and it ships free Australia-wide.
Every colour is the same shirt: same Class AA certification, same Kevlar® reinforcement, same armour options and the same price. The photo changes when you pick a colour.

EN 17092 is the European standard for motorcycle riders' protective garments. Class AA is the rating for urban and touring riding: the garment passed the impact abrasion, seam strength and tear strength tests as a complete piece of clothing.

Armour: CE Certified, EN 1621
Every armour option is CE certified to EN 1621, the standard for motorcycle impact protectors. Level 1 is the standard rating; Level 2 transmits less force in the test and is the higher rating.

Which armour should I choose?
Not sure? Level 1 Smooth Ways is the everyday choice: slim and light. Choose any Level 2 option for the higher impact rating on longer or faster rides. Every option covers shoulders, elbows and back.
Does the price include the armour?
Yes. The price shown for your selected option includes the full shoulder, elbow and back armour set. Nothing extra to buy.
Is every colour Class AA?
Yes. All nine colours are the same certified shirt; only the fabric pattern changes.
Is it waterproof?
No. It is a cotton flannel shirt. The inner phone pockets are water-sealed, but wear a rain layer over it in real rain.
Can I wear it without the armour?
Yes. All protectors are removable, so off the bike it is simply a flannel shirt. Put the armour back in before you ride.
How do I pick my size?
Measure a shirt that fits you well laid flat and compare it with the chart above, especially ½ Chest and Sleeve. If your sleeves always run short, choose a Tall (-T) size. Still unsure? Message us your chest measurement and height.
How do I wash it?
Remove all armour first. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Do not bleach, do not dry clean, lay flat to dry in the shade. Iron on low if needed.

Outrider™ Kevlar® Armoured Motorcycle Flannel Shirt
Our honest sizing advice: These are garment measurements, taken with the shirt laid flat. Double the ½ Chest figure to get the shirt's full chest. For a comfortable fit with the armour in, your own chest measurement should be roughly 10 to 15 cm less than that figure. Between sizes, go up one if you wear a hoodie or thicker layer underneath. Sleeves always short on you? Choose a Tall (-T) size. Not sure? Send us your chest measurement and height before you order and we will confirm the size.
