Shipping policy
Where we ship
Motrox holds stock in more than one country. Your order is sent from whichever of our locations is closest to you and has your item ready, so you are not waiting on a parcel from the other side of the world. Made-to-measure and custom orders are built to order in our own workshop and sent direct to you once finished. The countries we can ship to are shown in the delivery address step at checkout. If your country does not appear there, we cannot ship to it at this time — please contact us and we will tell you whether we can arrange it.
Delivery cost
Within Australia
Delivery is free on every order, everywhere in Australia. There is no minimum spend and no surcharge for regional or remote addresses.
Outside Australia
Leather garments ship free worldwide. This covers our leather jackets, leather suits, leather trousers and leather vests.
For all other items — textile gear, Kevlar gear, gloves and accessories — an international delivery charge may apply. The exact amount is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, based on your destination and the value of your order. Some international orders qualify for free delivery; if yours does, the checkout will show it as free.
The delivery charge shown at checkout is the only delivery charge we make. We do not add fees afterwards.
How long delivery takes
Within Australia
- Textile and Kevlar gear, gloves and accessories: 7–10 business days from dispatch.
- Leather garments: 15–19 business days from dispatch.
- Made-to-measure and custom orders: 15–19 business days from the point your measurements and design are confirmed.
Outside Australia
We quote 15–19 business days for international delivery. In practice, total time from order to doorstep has been running closer to four weeks for some destinations, and longer where local customs processing is slow. Please allow up to 30 days for an international order to arrive.
We would rather tell you this plainly than promise a date we cannot keep. We do not offer an express or guaranteed-date service. If you need an item by a particular date, contact us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
Things that add time
- Peak periods and public holidays
- Rural and remote delivery addresses
- Customs and border processing on international orders
- Made-to-measure orders where we are waiting on measurements, or where measurements need clarifying
Made-to-measure and custom orders
Made-to-measure garments are cut and built for you after your order. Production time begins when your measurements and any design details are confirmed with us — not on the day you place the order. If we need to come back to you about your measurements, the clock starts once that is settled.
Dispatch and tracking
You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order is dispatched. If the tracking has not updated for several days, contact us and we will chase the carrier on your behalf.
Customs duties and import taxes
Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand — nothing to pay on delivery
The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. For orders delivered in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, Motrox pays all customs duties and import taxes. You will not be asked for money on delivery, and no carrier will hold your parcel for a fee. This applies to stock items and to made-to-measure orders alike.
Australian orders include GST where it applies. Nothing further is payable on delivery.
All other countries
Prices shown on this site do not include customs duties or import taxes charged by your own country. Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or local charges are payable by you, and are collected by the carrier or your customs authority, not by Motrox. These charges vary by country and are outside our control. If you are unsure what applies where you live, check with your local customs authority before ordering.
Incorrect addresses and undelivered parcels
Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete, or because it went unclaimed, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. A further delivery charge may apply on international re-delivery.
If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, that is our problem to solve, not yours — contact us and we will sort it out.
Split deliveries
If your order contains items with different production times, we may send them separately so the quicker items reach you sooner. You are never charged twice for delivery when we do this.
Returns
Delivery and returns are separate. How to return something, who pays return postage, and the time limits that apply are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this shipping policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. These rights are in addition to this policy and are not limited by any delivery time stated in it.
Where goods are not delivered within a reasonable time, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.
