The MX Junior is a two-piece motocross kit for young riders — a lightweight jersey and a pair of MX pants, in red or green, sized 4 to 16 years.

It is riding clothing. No body armour of any kind is included — no knee pads, no elbow guards, no chest or back protector. The pants are pre-shaped at the knee with room for knee pads to be worn underneath, and protection is bought separately.

Sublimated graphics that do not crack or fade, a stretch V-neck collar and a snap buckle at the waist. Built to be washed a lot.

This is a jersey and pants set — riding clothing, not protective equipment. It contains no body armour and no knee pads. The pants are cut with extra room at the knee so knee pads can be worn underneath, and the knee panels are reinforced fabric, but reinforced fabric is not armour. Knee, elbow, chest and back protection are bought and worn separately.

Motocross body armour, knee pads and a helmet are separate purchases. This set is the kit that goes over them.

MX kit is meant to sit loose over protection, so measure your rider wearing the knee pads and body armour they will actually ride in — that changes the answer, particularly through the thigh and chest. Measure chest, waist, hip, height and inseam rather than going by age alone. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
