The Rebel Junior is the small-scale version of a classic biker jacket, made from 100% top-grain cowhide at 1.1–1.2mm, drum dyed. Real hide weight, real hardware, cut down to fit a child.

Removable CE certified armour is included at the shoulders and elbows, with a removable soft-plate back protector. Level 1 or Level 2 is selected above. To be exact: the CE certification belongs to the armour inserts. The leather shell is not a certified garment.

Waist adjustment straps and press-stud cuffs mean the fit can be tuned rather than guessed. Sizes run 4–16 years, or choose custom-made and we will cut it to their measurements.

Built from 100% top-grain cowhide, drum dyed at 1.1–1.2mm, with removable CE certified armour at the shoulders and elbows and a removable soft-plate back protector. It is the armour that carries the certification, not the leather shell.

100% Cowhide Shell, 1.1–1.2mm

Drum-dyed top-grain hide, so the colour runs through the leather instead of sitting on the surface.

Removable CE Certified Armour — Level 1 or Level 2

Shoulders and elbows, plus a removable soft-plate back protector. All of it lifts out when the jacket is worn off the bike.

Velcro Collar Fastening

Adjustable at the neck and easy for a child to fasten themselves.

Zipped Cuffs With Press-Studs

Zip them down and stud them closed so the sleeve stays over the glove.

Waist Adjustment Straps

Take the body in when a child sits at the smaller end of a size band.

Three Pockets

Two external zipped pockets and one inner right pocket. Front zip fastening.

Genuine YKK Zips, Chrome Finished

Zips are the first thing to fail on a children's jacket, so these are the proper ones.

Water-Resistant And Windproof

Sheds a shower and cuts the wind chill. Leather is not a wet-weather suit — for sustained rain, layer over the top.

Age labels are a starting point, not a measurement. Measure the child's chest at the fullest point in centimetres, over whatever they will wear underneath, and take the sleeve from the shoulder bone to the wrist. Please do not size up two bands for growing room: armour only does its job when it sits on the shoulder and elbow, and a jacket bought too big lets it slide off the joint. Send us the measurements and we will confirm the size — or choose custom-made.
