Most black leather jackets ask you to choose between looking good and being protected. The Motrox Onyx refuses the question. It reads as a clean classic biker jacket off the bike — diamond-quilted shoulders, brass-style hardware, black cowhide — and it carries removable CE certified armour at the shoulders, elbows and back when you're on it.
The shell is 100% real cowhide at 1.1–1.2mm. Cowhide is the tougher of the two leathers we work in: it stands up to abrasion, it holds its shape through years of wear, and it earns its place on a jacket built to be ridden in rather than just worn. Ventilation zips keep it wearable once the weather turns.
Every armour piece pulls out. Take them out and the Onyx is a jacket you can wear to dinner; put them back in and it's protective gear again. And every Motrox leather jacket can be built to your exact measurements — same leather, same armour, same price as standard sizing.

Because the Onyx carries armour at the shoulders and elbows, it sits slightly closer through the upper body than an unarmoured jacket — if you ride in a hoodie or a thermal layer, size up, or go custom. Made-to-measure costs nothing extra on our leather jackets and removes the guesswork entirely. XS is available to order — message us before ordering and we'll confirm the measurements for you. Size exchanges on standard sizes are easiest to sort within 48 hours of delivery, so try it on early.
