The Challenger is a full-grain cowhide riding jacket built around three things: the hide, the armour and the way it moves. The shell is 100% cowhide at 1.1–1.2mm, drum dyed — heavy enough to be a riding jacket, not a fashion piece.
Removable CE certified armour comes fitted at the shoulders, elbows and back from the start. It is the armour that carries the certification, not the leather shell. Choose Level 1 or Level 2 above.
Stretch panels at the shoulders and elbows let you reach the bars without the jacket fighting you. Sizes run S to 4XL, and if none of them is right, choose custom-made and we will cut it to your measurements.

Measure your chest at the fullest point in centimetres, over the layer you actually ride in. Leather beds in and gives a little across the shoulders with wear, so a new jacket should feel snug rather than roomy — but armour only works where it is meant to sit, so do not buy it loose either. Between sizes, take the larger if you ride over a jumper. Not sure? Send us your chest measurement before you order and we will confirm the size — or choose custom-made and skip the guesswork.

Armour: CE certification applies to the armour inserts, not to the leather shell. The inserts are removable and fitted at the shoulders and elbows, with a removable soft-plate back protector.
