The MTX is the jacket you keep on when you get off the bike. A 14oz Cordura stretch twill shell gives you a heavy, hard-wearing textile with enough give to move in, and removable CE certified armour comes with it rather than being sold to you afterwards.

The riding detail is deliberately quiet. Crosshatch panels across the shoulders, a jeans belt loop and a short trouser connection zip to stop it riding up, and a dark reflective label at the back that is the only thing announcing what it is.

This is textile, and textile does not stretch the way leather does, so if you are between sizes, go up. Armour only works where it is meant to sit, so a jacket loose through the shoulders is not doing its job. Not sure?
