The Cyclone is a one-piece kids racing leather suit in full-grain cowhide, cut close so the armour stays where it is meant to sit.

Protection comes from removable CE certified armour at the shoulders, elbows and knees plus a removable soft-plate back protector, all fitted from the start. Choose Level 1 or Level 2 armour above. It is the armour that carries the certification, not the leather.

Age sizes run 4 to 16 years. If none of them fits your rider, choose custom-made and we will build the suit to their measurements — details on our Custom Work page.

Built from full-grain cowhide leather in a one-piece cut, with removable CE certified armour at the shoulders, elbows and knees and a removable soft-plate back protector. It is the armour that carries the certification, not the leather shell.

A single sealed shell that stays put at speed, with no gap opening at the waist.

Certified protectors at the shoulders, elbows and knees, held in internal mesh protector pockets, plus a removable soft-plate back protector. Every protector comes out for cleaning. Select the armour class above.

External Sliders At Knees And Shoulders

Dual-density foam padded sliders on the outside of the knees and shoulders. The knee sliders are removable and replaceable.

Perforated Panels For Cooling

Perforation through the panels that need it, with mesh calf panels that sit cleanly over motorcycle boots.

Stretch Zones Where They Move

Stretch panels at the crotch, underarms, calves and behind the knees, plus an elasticated back panel for range of movement in the tuck.

Vented Aerodynamic Back Hump

A vented aero hump on the back — the same detail you see on the grid, scaled down.

Removable Washable Mesh Lining

The full internal mesh lining comes out and goes in the wash. Kids' kit needs that.

YKK Zips, Neoprene Collar And Cuffs

YKK zips at the front, knee, calf and cuffs with Velcro closure cuffs, and soft neoprene at the collar and cuffs where it sits against skin.

⚠️ Our Honest Sizing Advice

Do not order by age alone — take a tape measure to your rider first. Armour only protects where it actually sits, so a suit bought two sizes big puts the knee armour somewhere other than the knee. Measure chest, waist, hip, height, inseam and sleeve, and if your rider falls between two sizes, send us the numbers and we will tell you which one to take — or choose custom-made and skip the guesswork.

Fit, Care & Important Notes

Armour: CE certification applies to the armour inserts, not to the leather shell. The protectors sit at the shoulders, elbows and knees, with a soft-plate back protector, and all of them are removable.

Track Use: This is a leather race suit. It carries no racing-body homologation or track approval — check the equipment rules for your rider's club, series or track day before you enter.

Leather Care: Take the armour out first, then wipe the leather with a soft damp cloth and condition it now and then. Never machine wash the suit — the mesh lining comes out and washes separately. See our Wash & Care guide.

Sizing & Returns: Getting the size right first time is the whole game. Message us your rider's measurements before you order and we will confirm the size. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Ordering With Confidence — Returns, Refunds & Cancelling

Spending this much with a brand you have not bought from before deserves a straight answer, so here it is in full — including the part most made-to-measure sellers leave out.

📦Stock sizes — 30 days to change your mind

Ordered a standard size and it is not for you? Return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery. It needs to be unworn, with tags, liners and armour still attached, in its original packaging. Email us first for a return reference. Return postage is yours on a change-of-mind return.

📏Made-to-measure — read this before you order

A made-to-measure suit cannot be returned because you changed your mind, and that includes the case where the measurements you gave us do not fit the way you expected. Your leather is cut to your numbers and cannot be sold to anyone else. This is why we ask you to measure twice, use the guided form, and talk to us if anything is unclear. We would rather answer ten questions than build the wrong suit.

🛠️If we build it wrong, we fix it — free

If the suit does not match the specification you gave us, we remake it or refund it at no cost to you. And if anything arrives faulty, damaged in transit or simply not what you ordered, we pay the return postage and you choose — repair, replacement or refund. That applies to made-to-measure exactly as it does to stock sizes. Please tell us within 48 hours of delivery if something arrives damaged, so we can lodge the carrier claim and get a replacement moving — that is our preferred notification window, not a deadline on your rights.

✋Changed your mind before we start?

Stock items can be cancelled any time before dispatch for a full refund. A made-to-measure order can be cancelled within 24 hours for a full refund. After that, but before we cut material, it can be cancelled with a 25% deduction. Once the leather is cut to your measurements it cannot be cancelled — there is nothing left to resell.

💳How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the item, back to the card or account you paid with.

🌏Duties and taxes

Delivering to Australia, the United Kingdom or New Zealand? Motrox pays all customs duties and import taxes — nothing further to pay when it arrives. Everywhere else, any duties and taxes are payable by the buyer on delivery.

Your consumer rights sit on top of all of this. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — including a replacement or refund for a major failure.
