Full Waist Connecting Zip
🇦🇺
Australian Owned

The Avro Junior is a two-piece kids leather suit in cowhide — a jacket and trousers joined by a heavy connecting zip that runs the whole way round the waist. It is set up for road riding but works on any surface your rider takes it to.

It ships with a full protector set: shoulders, elbows, knees and a back protector, plus soft protectors at the hips. There are internal pockets for a chest protector, which is not included and can be added later. Choose Level 1 or Level 2 armour above — it is the armour that carries the certification, not the leather.

Three colourways, age sizes 4 to 16 years, and custom-made if none of those is right — details on our Custom Work page.

Shipped free worldwide. Made to order and delivered to your door in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and Australia in 15–19 business days — with no shipping cost added at checkout.

What This Suit Actually Does
1
Covers The Impact Points
A full set of CE certified protectors at the shoulders, elbows and knees, a back protector, and soft protectors at the hips.
2
Takes The Slide
Cowhide leather with seams reinforced with heavy-duty yarn, replaceable knee sliders and shoulder plates.
3
Keeps Air Moving
Perforated leather, chest ventilation slits and a breathable lining — the reasons a suit gets worn instead of unzipped.
Choose custom-made and we cut the suit to your rider's measurements.
Key Features
Construction · Cowhide Leather · Two-Piece With Full Waist Zip
Built from cowhide leather as a jacket and trousers connected by a resistant zip around the entire waist, with composite protectors at the knees, elbows and shoulders, soft protectors on the hips and a back protector included.
Two-Piece With Full Waist Connecting Zip
The jacket and trousers zip together the whole way round, so the suit does not ride up, and split again when the session is over.
Armour Set Included — Level 1 or Level 2
Composite protectors at the shoulders, elbows and knees, soft protectors at the hips, and a back protector, all included in the box. Select the armour class above.
Chest Protector Ready — Not Included
Internal pockets are built in for a chest protector. It does not come with the suit and can be fitted later.
Replaceable Knee Sliders And Shoulder Plates
Both are removable and replaceable, so a scraped slider is a part, not a new suit.
Perforated Leather And Chest Vents
Perforated panels plus ventilation slits across the chest to move air through the suit.
Breathable Silver-Ion Treated Lining
A breathable lining with a silver-ion treatment, aimed at keeping the inside of the suit fresher between washes.
Boot-In System At The Calves
Two zips down each calf so the suit goes over or under motorcycle boots.
Aero Hump And Elastic Neck
An aerodynamic back hump, with an elasticated neck construction so the collar sits without digging in.
Reflective Inserts
Reflective inserts worked into the panels.
Water-Repellent Treated Leather
The leather carries a water-repellent treatment. Treat it as showerproof, not waterproof.
Accordion Stretch Panels
Accordion leather panels and stretch fabric through the articulation zones for movement.

Sizing & Fit

⚠️ Our Honest Sizing Advice
Do not order by age alone — take a tape measure to your rider first. Armour only protects where it actually sits, so a suit bought two sizes big puts the knee armour somewhere other than the knee. Measure chest, waist, hip, height, inseam and sleeve, and if your rider falls between two sizes, send us the numbers and we will tell you which one to take — or choose custom-made and skip the guesswork.
Custom-Made 4–6 Yrs 6–8 Yrs 8–10 Yrs 10–12 Yrs 12–14 Yrs 14–16 Yrs
  • Chest: around the fullest part, under the arms
  • Waist: around the natural waistline

  • Sleeve: from the shoulder bone to the wrist bone
✓ The kids size guide image on this listing and our Size Guide are the reference to check before ordering. We are confirming our own measured chart for this suit from production samples and will publish it here once verified — until then, message us your rider's measurements and we will tell you which size to take.
Fit, Care & Important Notes
🛡️
Armour: CE certification applies to the protectors, not to the leather shell. The suit includes shoulder, elbow and knee protectors, hip protectors and a back protector. A chest protector is not included.
🏁
Track Use: This is a leather race suit. It carries no racing-body homologation or track approval — check the equipment rules for your rider's club, series or track day before you enter.
✂️
Custom-Made: Choose custom-made above and we cut the suit to your rider's measurements. Details on our Custom Work page.
🧴
Leather Care: Take the armour out first, then wipe the leather with a soft damp cloth and condition it now and then. Never machine wash the suit — the lining comes out and washes separately. See our Wash & Care guide.
📋
Sizing & Returns: Getting the size right first time is the whole game. Message us your rider's measurements before you order and we will confirm the size. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Delivery: Standard delivery, 15–19 business days, free worldwide.

Ordering With Confidence — Returns, Refunds & Cancelling

Spending this much with a brand you have not bought from before deserves a straight answer, so here it is in full — including the part most made-to-measure sellers leave out.

📦Stock sizes — 30 days to change your mind

Ordered a standard size and it is not for you? Return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery. It needs to be unworn, with tags, liners and armour still attached, in its original packaging. Email us first for a return reference. Return postage is yours on a change-of-mind return.

📏Made-to-measure — read this before you order

A made-to-measure suit cannot be returned because you changed your mind, and that includes the case where the measurements you gave us do not fit the way you expected. Your leather is cut to your numbers and cannot be sold to anyone else. This is why we ask you to measure twice, use the guided form, and talk to us if anything is unclear. We would rather answer ten questions than build the wrong suit.

🛠️If we build it wrong, we fix it — free

If the suit does not match the specification you gave us, we remake it or refund it at no cost to you. And if anything arrives faulty, damaged in transit or simply not what you ordered, we pay the return postage and you choose — repair, replacement or refund. That applies to made-to-measure exactly as it does to stock sizes. Please tell us within 48 hours of delivery if something arrives damaged, so we can lodge the carrier claim and get a replacement moving — that is our preferred notification window, not a deadline on your rights.

Changed your mind before we start?

Stock items can be cancelled any time before dispatch for a full refund. A made-to-measure order can be cancelled within 24 hours for a full refund. After that, but before we cut material, it can be cancelled with a 25% deduction. Once the leather is cut to your measurements it cannot be cancelled — there is nothing left to resell.

💳How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the item, back to the card or account you paid with.

🌏Duties and taxes

Delivering to Australia, the United Kingdom or New Zealand? Motrox pays all customs duties and import taxes — nothing further to pay when it arrives. Everywhere else, any duties and taxes are payable by the buyer on delivery.

Your consumer rights sit on top of all of this. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — including a replacement or refund for a major failure. Those rights are not limited by any of the time periods above, and they cover made-to-measure goods in full. The full wording is in our Refund Policy.
