Most men's leather jackets sold in Australia are cut boxy — extra room through the chest and waist that reads as bulk the moment you put it on. The Mayfair is cut close: narrow through the body, tapered at the waist, sleeves set to sit clean over a t-shirt or a shirt without bunching.

The leather is 100% soft sheepskin — lighter and far more supple than cowhide, so it moves with you from the first wear instead of taking a season to break in. Diamond-stitched padding across the shoulders and elbows gives the panelling its shape and a bit of bulk where you want it, and the black finish keeps the whole thing understated.

Please also note that leather takes light differently to a camera — there may be a slight shade variation between the photographs and the jacket you receive.

Looking After It

Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat. Treat with a quality leather conditioner two or three times a year to keep the sheepskin supple. Never machine wash, and store it on a broad hanger rather than folded.
