The Motrox Roadhouse is the two-material vest: genuine cowhide leather where a vest takes its wear, heavy black denim through the body so it breathes and moves like a jacket you have owned for years. A full zip with a snap-over front, cotton lining and seven pockets, including an inside pocket, in a casual club cut that goes over a hoodie or a riding jacket.

Wear it over a Vanguard™ or Goshawk™ armoured hoodie for the full set, over a riding jacket, over a shirt, or on its own. Size it over whatever it will go on top of.

Three styles above. Checkmate and Bronzeback are stocked standard-size vests in 19 sizes from S to 8XL including tall cuts. Redline is made to order in S to 3XL, or made to your measurements. All ship free Australia-wide.

Does it have armour?

The Roadhouse is a leather-and-denim vest; the armour is in our hoodies. Wear it over a Vanguard™ or Goshawk™ armoured hoodie and you have the full set.

Will it fit over my riding jacket?

Yes, that is what the club cut is for. Measure your chest over the jacket you plan to wear under it and size from that number; it usually means going up one size from your shirt size. Denim has less give than leather, so between sizes go up.

What is the difference between the three styles?

Checkmate and Bronzeback share one cut and hardware: Checkmate is grey-and-black checkered denim with black leather and a plaid lining; Bronzeback is black denim with bronze waxed, diamond-quilted leather and side relief zips. Redline is a classic black club vest in full-grain cowhide and denim with red contrast stitching, from a different workshop, in S–3XL or made to measure.

Can I get it made to measure?

Redline, yes: choose Custom-made and we cut it to your measurements. Checkmate and Bronzeback are stocked standard sizes, S–8XL plus tall, so most riders find their size in the chart.

How do I pick my size?

Measure chest and belly over what you will wear underneath and use the larger number in the chart above. Between sizes, go smaller for a snug fit over a shirt or larger for room over a jacket. Long in the body? Choose a Tall (-T) size on Checkmate or Bronzeback.

Is the chart the same as your other vests?

Yes. Every Motrox vest, Kingpin™, Roadhouse™, Renegade™ and Drover™, is sized to the one chart; the chart image is in the photos. Redline is made to order to it.

How do I look after it?

Wipe the leather with a soft damp cloth and air dry away from direct heat; condition the leather a couple of times a year. Do not machine wash or tumble dry; the denim body is fine to spot clean.
