The Motrox Kingpin is a club-cut leather vest in genuine cowhide, 1.0–1.1 mm, with diamond-stitched shoulder panels and contrast stitching in your choice of colour. The front closes on a hidden zip under a snap placket, so it sits flat and clean; the embroidered yoke panels front and back give it the club look without a single patch. Lined in polyester with six pockets, including two concealed inside pockets.

Wear it over a Vanguard™ or Goshawk™ armoured hoodie for the full set, over a riding jacket, over a shirt, or on its own. Size it over whatever it will go on top of.

How to measure a vest laid flat: A half chest, B half hem, C shoulder, D back length
Compare these with a vest you already own. Lay it flat and zipped on a table and measure with a tape: A across the chest just under the armpits, B across the bottom hem from side seam to side seam, C across the back from one shoulder point to the other, D from the top of the shoulder down to the hem. "½" means the flat width, one side only. Tall (-T) sizes are longer in the body and a little wider in the chest at the same size.

The Kingpin is a leather vest; the armour is in our hoodies. Wear it over a Vanguard™ or Goshawk™ armoured hoodie and you have the full set.

Will it fit over my riding jacket?

That is what the club cut is for. Measure your chest over the jacket you plan to wear under it and size from that number; it usually means going up one size from your shirt size.

Are all the colours the same vest?

Yes. Same cowhide, same cut, same zips, snaps and pockets. The seven stitch colours (Bondi, Twilight, Daintree, Uluru, Galah, Headlight, Banksia) change only the contrast stitching and shoulder-panel colour on black leather. Mallee is distressed brown leather with black honeycomb-stitched panels and olive canvas.

Can I get it made to measure?

No. The Kingpin is a stocked, standard-size vest. With 19 sizes from S to 8XL plus tall cuts, most riders find their size in the chart; message us your chest and belly measurements if you are between sizes.

How do I pick my size?

Measure chest and belly over what you will wear underneath, and use the larger number in the chart above. Between sizes, go smaller for a snug fit over a shirt or larger for room over a jacket. If you are long in the body, choose a Tall (-T) size.

Is the chart the same as your other vests?

Yes. Every Motrox vest, Kingpin™, Roadhouse™, Renegade™ and Drover™, is sized to the one chart; the chart image is in the photos.

How do I look after it?

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and let it air dry away from direct heat. A leather conditioner a couple of times a year keeps the hide supple. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
