Seven points of protection
Shown: the Estoril GP, front and back. Every Motrox race suit, one-piece or two-piece, adult or kids, has these protection points. Colours, panels and the extras further down vary by model.
- CE shoulder armourRemovable CE certified armour in each shoulder. Level 1 or Level 2, your choice.
- CE elbow armourRemovable CE certified armour at each elbow.
- CE back protectorA removable CE certified back protector comes with every suit, at the same level as the rest of the armour.
- Stretch panelsStretch panels let the suit move with you in a riding tuck.
- CE hip armourRemovable CE certified armour on the outer side of each hip, over the hip bone.

- Knee slidersExternal knee sliders on both knees, for contact with the track.

Leather shell
The outer shell is leather, the layer that takes the slide.
Removable lining
The lining comes out for washing.
Level 1 or Level 2 armour
Level 1 covers everyday impact protection; Level 2 absorbs more impact energy, for track and racing. You choose on the product page, and the level applies to every piece of armour in the suit, back protector included.
Kevlar® crotch panel
A Kevlar®-reinforced panel at the crotch, on every suit, kids suits included.

These are on some suits and not others. Each product page lists exactly what that suit has, so check it before you order.
Aero hump
On most suits, vented on many. A few are set up for a hydration bladder.
Titanium armour plates
On a few suits, over the knees and shoulders, where you can see them in the photos. Can be added to any suit at the knees, shoulders and elbows at no extra cost: choose it under Build preferences on the suit page.
Elbow sliders
On a few suits only.
Perforation
Perforated leather for airflow on most suits. More, less or none: choose it under Build preferences, at no extra cost.

Is the armour removable?
Yes, on every model. The CE certified armour at the shoulders, elbows and knees, the hip armour and the back protector all come out.
What's the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 armour?
All Motrox armour is CE certified to the EN 1621 standard. Level 1 covers everyday impact protection; Level 2 absorbs more impact energy, for track and racing. On any product that offers an armour choice, you pick the level yourself. On a suit, the level you pick applies to all of its armour, back protector included.
Is a back protector included?
Yes. Every Motrox race suit, adult and kids, comes with a CE certified back protector, at the same level as the rest of the armour.
Is the whole suit CE certified?
The CE certification covers the armour, not the leather suit as a whole. Racing clubs and track days set their own gear rules, so check yours before you book.
Which extras does my suit have?
Every suit has the protection points shown above. Extras such as the hump and elbow sliders differ by model, and each product page lists them.
Is there armour in the seat?
Not as standard. The seat is double-layer leather with solid panelling and extra stitching, built to last through a long slide rather than to absorb an impact. A seat armour insert, made to sit in the seat area, can be added at no extra cost: choose it under Build preferences on the suit page.
Can my suit be made to measure?
Yes. Every suit can be made to your exact measurements, at no extra cost for the fit. See Custom race suits.
