The Drifter is a textile touring jacket with nothing on it that has not earned its place. A 100% Cordura D600 shell takes the weather and the wear, and removable CE certified armour at the back, elbows and shoulders is fitted from the start, held in internal Velcro pockets — not sold to you afterwards as an extra.

It is water-resistant and windproof, with a Velcro collar fastening, zipped Velcro cuffs and waist adjustment straps to hold the fit where you set it. An air vent lets you dump heat when the traffic slows down and the weather does not.

Choose your armour class above. Sizes run S to 4XL, and if none of them is right, choose custom-made and we will build it to your measurements.

Three Jobs A Touring Jacket Has To Do
1
Cover The Impact Points
Removable CE certified armour sits in internal Velcro pockets at the back, elbows and shoulders — the three places a rider lands.
2
Work Both Ways On Weather
A Cordura D600 shell that is water-resistant and windproof, plus an air vent for the days the wind chill is not the problem.
3
Stay Where You Set It
Waist adjustment straps, a Velcro collar and zipped Velcro cuffs close the gaps so the jacket is not flapping at highway speed.
Sizes S–4XL off the rack, or choose custom-made and we will cut it to your measurements. See Custom Work.
Key Features
Construction · Cordura D600 · Removable CE Certified Armour
Built from 100% Cordura D600 with removable CE certified armour at the back, elbows and shoulders, held in internal Velcro pockets. It is the armour that carries the certification, not the textile shell.
100% Cordura D600 Shell
The full-weight touring textile. Built to be worn hard and worn often, not saved for good weather.
Removable CE Certified Armour — Level 1 or Level 2
Fitted at the back, elbows and shoulders in internal Velcro pockets, and out in seconds when the jacket comes off the bike. Choose your armour class above.
Water-Resistant & Windproof
Sheds the shower and blocks the wind chill that makes an early start miserable long before the temperature does.
Air Vent
Open it up and let the heat out on a warm run. A jacket you take off in January is not protecting you.
Velcro Collar Fastening
Closes snug at the neck so wind is not funnelling down inside the jacket at highway speed.
Zipped Adjustable Cuffs
Zip and Velcro at the wrist — open them over a gauntlet glove or pull them in tight underneath.
Waist Adjustment Straps
Take up the slack through the body so the back armour stays flat against your back instead of riding up.
Three Pockets
Two front zipped pockets and one inner right pocket. Enough for phone, wallet and keys without a bulge you can feel through the armour.
Genuine YKK Zips
The hardware you use every single ride is the hardware worth spending on.

⚠️ Our Honest Sizing Advice
Measure your chest at the fullest point, over the layer you actually ride in — a jumper underneath changes the answer. This is textile, and textile does not stretch the way leather does, so if you are between sizes, go up. Armour only works where it is meant to sit, so a jacket that is loose through the shoulders is not doing its job. Not sure? Send us your chest measurement in centimetres before you order and we will confirm the size — or choose custom-made and skip the guesswork.
✓ The men's jacket size guide image on this listing and our Size Guide are the reference to check before ordering. We are confirming our own measured chart for this jacket from production samples and will publish it here once verified — until then, message us your chest measurement and we will tell you which size to take.
Fit, Care & Important Notes
🛡️
Armour: CE certification applies to the armour inserts, not to the jacket shell. The inserts are removable and fitted at the back, elbows and shoulders.
🧴
Care: Take the armour out first, then wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and air dry away from direct heat and sunlight. See our Wash & Care guide for more.
📋
Sizing & Returns: Getting the size right first time is the whole game. Message us your measurements before you order and we will confirm your size. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.
✂️
Custom-Made: Select custom-made in the size list and we will build the jacket to your measurements. Details on our Custom Work page.
