The Misano Junior is a one-piece kids race suit in high-quality full-grain cowhide, built for track work — light for what it is, and cut ergonomically so a young rider can actually hold a racing position in it.

It carries CE certified protectors, large dual-composite sliders at the shoulders and knees, elbow sliders and soft inserts at the hips. Choose Level 1 or Level 2 armour above — it is the armour that carries the certification, not the leather.

A stretch system across the back that extends in five directions, so the suit follows the rider into a lean instead of fighting them.

Localised Perforated Leather

Perforation concentrated where heat needs to leave, on both sides of the suit, with wider vent areas at the key points.

Big Aerodynamic Hump

A large aerodynamic back hump, set up to take a hydration bladder.

Self-Locking Cuff Zips

The cuffs close with self-locking zips instead of Velcro.

In-And-Out Boot System

The trousers can be worn inside or outside motorcycle boots, with foot and ankle coverage either way.

Removable Washable Inner Lining

A 3D mesh lining with mesh panels, removable and washable.

Soft Anti-Abrasion Edging

All the ends are finished in soft anti-abrasion fabric, comfortable against skin and hard-wearing.

⚠️ Our Honest Sizing Advice

Do not order by age alone — take a tape measure to your rider first. Armour only protects where it actually sits, so a suit bought two sizes big puts the knee armour somewhere other than the knee. Measure chest, waist, hip, height, inseam and sleeve, and if your rider falls between two sizes, send us the numbers and we will tell you which one to take — or choose custom-made and skip the guesswork. A race suit should fit snugly but not tightly: your rider should feel no discomfort in their normal riding position and should reach the controls easily.

Armour: CE certification applies to the protectors, not to the leather shell. The protectors are removable.

Track Use: This is a leather race suit. It carries no racing-body homologation or track approval — check the equipment rules for your rider's club, series or track day before you enter.

Leather Care: Take the armour out first, then wipe the leather with a soft damp cloth and condition it now and then. Never machine wash the suit — the lining comes out and washes separately. See our Wash & Care guide.

Sizing & Returns: Getting the size right first time is the whole game. Message us your rider's measurements before you order and we will confirm the size. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Ordering With Confidence — Returns, Refunds & Cancelling

Spending this much with a brand you have not bought from before deserves a straight answer, so here it is in full — including the part most made-to-measure sellers leave out.

📦Stock sizes — 30 days to change your mind

Ordered a standard size and it is not for you? Return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery. It needs to be unworn, with tags, liners and armour still attached, in its original packaging. Email us first for a return reference. Return postage is yours on a change-of-mind return.

📏Made-to-measure — read this before you order

A made-to-measure suit cannot be returned because you changed your mind, and that includes the case where the measurements you gave us do not fit the way you expected. Your leather is cut to your numbers and cannot be sold to anyone else. This is why we ask you to measure twice, use the guided form, and talk to us if anything is unclear. We would rather answer ten questions than build the wrong suit.

🛠️If we build it wrong, we fix it — free

If the suit does not match the specification you gave us, we remake it or refund it at no cost to you. And if anything arrives faulty, damaged in transit or simply not what you ordered, we pay the return postage and you choose — repair, replacement or refund. That applies to made-to-measure exactly as it does to stock sizes. Please tell us within 48 hours of delivery if something arrives damaged, so we can lodge the carrier claim and get a replacement moving — that is our preferred notification window, not a deadline on your rights.

✋Changed your mind before we start?

Stock items can be cancelled any time before dispatch for a full refund. A made-to-measure order can be cancelled within 24 hours for a full refund. After that, but before we cut material, it can be cancelled with a 25% deduction. Once the leather is cut to your measurements it cannot be cancelled — there is nothing left to resell.

💳How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the item, back to the card or account you paid with.

🌏Duties and taxes

Delivering to Australia, the United Kingdom or New Zealand? Motrox pays all customs duties and import taxes — nothing further to pay when it arrives. Everywhere else, any duties and taxes are payable by the buyer on delivery.

Your consumer rights sit on top of all of this. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — including a replacement or refund for a major failure.
